Flipped Stitch Originals — Why I Finally Did It

Why I Finally Did It

I almost didn't do this.

Not because I didn't believe in it — I believed in it deeply. But belief and action are two different things, and for a long time, I let the gap between them stay wide.

I've spent most of my life in spaces where people are fighting to hold it together. Working in a homeless shelter and OPS will do that to you — it strips away the noise and shows you what actually matters. And what I kept seeing, over and over, was that people needed more than services. They needed to feel seen. To feel like they still had something to say.

That's where the idea lived for a while. Just an idea.

Then one day I stopped waiting for the right time — because there is no right time. There's just the moment you decide you're done sitting on something that matters.

Flipped Stitch is that decision made real.

It's not a brand built in a boardroom. It's built from years of watching people carry weight the world doesn't always acknowledge — and wanting to hand them something that says: I see you. Keep going.

Every piece we make is intentional. Heavy-blend fabrics because comfort shouldn't be a luxury. Bold graphics because your outside should match the fire you carry inside. On-demand production because we don't make things just to fill space — we make them because someone out there needs exactly that piece.

This is the opening of something I've been building toward for a long time.

If you've ever felt like you were carrying more than your share and still showed up anyway — this brand is for you.

Welcome to Flipped Stitch. We're just getting started.
